Roxalt Antiques
Roxalt Antiques was started by Alan Whatmore. Alan's interest in antiques blossomed into a new business following his retirement. His wife Angie, who worked closely with him in the business from the beginning, has since taken over running the business following Alan's sudden death in August 2016.
Alan's main passion was in furniture and its restoration, especially Georgian pieces, his eclectic tastes ran to many and various antique and vintage items. Angie concentrates more on the collectable items, including glass, ceramics and silver. Angie can be found on duty in the Centre on Saturdays, or continuing the tradition she and Alan enjoyed so much together, drinking and eating the profits away in the Centre's Lounge Café.
